Main responsibilities and duties of the post

  1. Managing and dealing with matters submitted regarding the recruitment of schools under the Ministry.
  2. Managing the work of regulating job appointments at schools operating under the Ministry.
  3. Carrying out all work related to handling correspondence, complaints and queries received concerning staff members, obtaining required information in accordance with established procedures and rules, and following them consistently.
  4. Providing timely responses to correspondence that the division is responsible for answering before the deadline, and ensuring that notes, memos and circulars are written and sent as required.
  5. Preparing the unit's annual work plan in consultation with a specialist from the Human Resources Division.

Requirements of the post

    1. Holding a Master's degree at Level 9 of the Maldivian National Qualifications Framework in a field related to the duties of the post.

Or

    1. Holding a degree at Level 7 or 8 of the Maldivian National Qualifications Framework or a Bachelor's Honours degree in a field related to the duties of the post, along with 4 years of work experience in the field of work related to the post.

  5. Copies of educational certificates obtained;

(a) For educational certificates issued by institutions outside Maldives that have been graded by the Maldives Qualifications Authority at a certain level, copies of the educational certificate and transcript; or: in cases where there is no certificate, a copy of the letter confirming completion of the course and a copy of the assessment report and transcript issued by the Maldives Qualifications Authority.

(b) Copies of educational certificates and transcript issued by local educational institutions in Maldives; or copies of letter confirming completion of the course and copies of transcript.

  1. Copies of documents covering the following criteria providing work experience:

(a) If work experience has been gained in a civil service post, in a state institution, in a government-owned company, a letter from that office stating the work undertaken, the period of work (in years, months and days), and the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each).

(b) For work experience within the civil service that cannot be verified from https://myaccount.csc.gov.mv/, a letter from that office stating the work undertaken and the period (in years, months and days) confirmed by that office, and stating the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each).

(c) If work experience has been gained in a private company or private organisation, a letter from that organisation stating the work undertaken, the period of work (in years, months and days), the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each) and the number of staff at the workplace.

(d) If work has been undertaken in a national or international association or society, a letter from that organisation stating the work undertaken, and the period (in years, months and days), and the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each). This letter should state whether the position held is a salaried position or not, or alternatively, an official letter from that organisation confirming this.

(e) If work has been undertaken in a dissolved state institution, or in a dissolved private company or private organisation, or in a dissolved national or international society or association, and a letter from that office stating the work undertaken and the period of work (in years, months and days) and the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each) cannot be obtained, the "Reference Check Form for Work Experience from a Dissolved Workplace" found in Table 8 of the Recruitment Rules.
