Main responsibilities and duties of the post
- Conducting all administrative work necessary to organize and conduct various programmes run by the Ministry for the purpose of promoting religious education under the guidance and advice of clerics, and conducting all administrative work necessary to carry out such programmes.
- Carrying out all administrative work related to organising religious education programmes aimed at the Media under the guidance and instruction of the officers of this Ministry in coordination with the Islamic Studies Department of this Ministry, and carrying out all the necessary administrative work to take forward these programmes.
- Conducting administrative work on matters related to the Modern Region in respect of matters that are religiously controversial, and keeping records of such matters including matters related to the public and common (such as news statement, circular and announcement) documents.
- Under programmes of religious instruction aimed at promoting religious education to people living in each region of the Modern Region, organizing and conducting religious exhortation programmes given through programmes of promoting religious education in consultation with the section's staff.
- Carrying out all administrative work related to religious education programmes for increasing religious education that the Ministry carries out in coordination with various institutions and club associations.
- Conducting all administrative work related to the holding of sessions and seminars/workshops/forums.
- Conducting all administrative work on programmes held for the purpose of revitalizing the nights of Ramadan.
- After writing a detailed report of the work carried out by the section to be included in the annual report, conducting the necessary matters for handing over to the relevant staff and conducting work related to informing the relevant staff of the details of the work carried out by the unit on a daily basis for inclusion in the Ministry's daily report.
- Conducting all matters assigned in relation to the office's official work.

A degree at level 7 or 8 of the Maldives National Qualifications Framework or a Bachelor of Honours degree in a field related to the work of the post.

(b) Copies of educational certificates and transcript issued by local educational institutions in Maldives; or copies of letter confirming completion of the course and copies of transcript.
- Copies of documents covering the following criteria providing work experience:
(a) If work experience has been gained in a civil service post, in a state institution, in a government-owned company, a letter from that office stating the work undertaken, the period of work (in years, months and days), and the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each).
(b) For work experience within the civil service that cannot be verified from https://myaccount.csc.gov.mv/, a letter from that office stating the work undertaken and the period (in years, months and days) confirmed by that office, and stating the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each).
(c) If work experience has been gained in a private company or private organisation, a letter from that organisation stating the work undertaken, the period of work (in years, months and days), the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each) and the number of staff at the workplace.
(d) If work has been undertaken in a national or international association or society, a letter from that organisation stating the work undertaken, and the period (in years, months and days), and the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each). This letter should state whether the position held is a salaried position or not, or alternatively, an official letter from that organisation confirming this.
(e) If work has been undertaken in a dissolved state institution, or in a dissolved private company or private organisation, or in a dissolved national or international society or association, and a letter from that office stating the work undertaken and the period of work (in years, months and days) and the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each) cannot be obtained, the "Reference Check Form for Work Experience from a Dissolved Workplace" found in Table 8 of the Recruitment Rules.
