Main responsibilities and duties of the post
- Maintaining attendance for all staff and sending attendance reports to the relevant parties.
- Preparing permanent and temporary employee job descriptions and employment agreements.
- Maintaining the register of permanent and temporary employees.
- Carrying out all work to find and fill the employees needed for permanent and temporary posts.
- Keeping performance appraisal records up to date.
- Carrying out the work of filling promotions for employees eligible for promotion.
- Keeping the employee allowance register up to date.
- Keeping employees' personal files up to date and preparing other correspondence related to employees.
- Preparing and sending the monthly salary sheet.
- Updating the view.
Requirements of the post
1. Passing at 'E' grade or above in no more than 2 subjects in a Secondary School Certificate or Higher Secondary School Certificate examination equivalent to or of the same standard as the Advanced Level, with 'C' grade or above in Dhivehi in the Secondary School Certificate or Higher Secondary School Certificate examination.

Passing at 'D' grade or above in no more than 2 subjects in a Secondary School Certificate or Higher Secondary School Certificate examination equivalent to or of the same standard as the Advanced Level, with 'C' grade or above in Dhivehi, and having 4 years of work experience in a field related to the post.

Civil Service Job Application Form
- Details of the applicant (including contact phone number and email address).
- A readable copy of both sides of the card proving that the applicant is a Maldivian citizen (even if the validity period has expired), or if the ID card is lost, the applicant's birth certificate, passport or driving licence.
- If a staff member with a service agreement to serve the Civil Service / Government is transferred to this position, a letter issued by the office providing the service stating that there is no objection to leaving the position.
- Copies of educational certificates obtained;
(a) For educational certificates issued by institutions outside Maldives that have been graded by the Maldives Qualifications Authority at a certain level, copies of the educational certificate and transcript; or: in cases where there is no certificate, a copy of the letter confirming completion of the course and a copy of the assessment report and transcript issued by the Maldives Qualifications Authority.
(b) Copies of educational certificates and transcript issued by local educational institutions in Maldives; or copies of letter confirming completion of the course and copies of transcript.
- Copies of documents covering the following criteria providing work experience:
(a) If work experience has been gained in a civil service post, in a state institution, in a government-owned company, a letter from that office stating the work undertaken, the period of work (in years, months and days), and the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each).
(b) For work experience within the civil service that cannot be verified from https://myaccount.csc.gov.mv/, a letter from that office stating the work undertaken and the period (in years, months and days) confirmed by that office, and stating the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each).
(c) If work experience has been gained in a private company or private organisation, a letter from that organisation stating the work undertaken, the period of work (in years, months and days), the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each) and the number of staff at the workplace.
(d) If work has been undertaken in a national or international association or society, a letter from that organisation stating the work undertaken, and the period (in years, months and days), and the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each). This letter should state whether the position held is a salaried position or not, or alternatively, an official letter from that organisation confirming this.
(e) If work has been undertaken in a dissolved state institution, or in a dissolved private company or private organisation, or in a dissolved national or international society or association, and a letter from that office stating the work undertaken and the period of work (in years, months and days) and the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each) cannot be obtained, the "Reference Check Form for Work Experience from a Dissolved Workplace" found in Table 8 of the Recruitment Rules.
