About the employer

Thaajuddeen School is a state-run school on Thaajuddeen Hingun in Malé. Its own website describes it as offering Grades 1 to 10, with IGCSE and SSC pathways. The school opened in 1989 as Thaajuddeen Primary School and was renamed in 1990. The Ministry of Education says secondary provision began in 2002 and that the school became a secondary school in 2010. The Ministry also lists about 1,422 students and 134 teachers, though these are student and teacher counts rather than total staff.
