What you would do

• Lead the culinary operations of the Japanese specialty restaurant
• Oversee menu development, sushi and sashimi, robata and hot kitchen operations
• Maintain the highest standards of food quality, hygiene and guest satisfaction
• Train, motivate and develop a diverse culinary team

What they are looking for

• Minimum 8-10 years of professional culinary experience, with a strong background in Japanese or pan-Asian cuisine
• At least 3-4 years in a senior culinary leadership role, preferably as Sous Chef, Senior Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine
• Previous experience in luxury hotels, resorts or premium Japanese restaurants
• Proven experience in modern Japanese dining concepts, including a la carte, tasting menus or omakase-style experiences
• Experience in menu development, food cost control and culinary team management
• Diploma in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management or Professional Cookery preferred
