Senior Procurement Officer

• A level 7 or level 8 qualification from a institution related to the duties of the post, recognised under the national qualifications framework of the Maldives;
• Being a person between 18 and 35 years of age;
• Not being a person convicted of a crime prohibited in Islamic law, within the past 05 years, proven by Islamic law;
• Not being a person convicted within the past 05 years, proven by Islamic law, of theft, fraud, forgery, embezzlement, betrayal or any crime set out in Law No. 2011/17 (Law on Money Laundering);
• Not being a person who has been debarred from prohibited transactions and who has not sought rehabilitation within the past 05 years;
• Not having been prosecuted within the past 05 years in connection with any criminal matter;
• Not being a person registered as a member of any registered political party in the Maldives;
• Not being a person who has been dismissed from Dhivehi Civil Service employment;
• Not being a person separated from another office position on ethical grounds or any other matter; and
• Not being retired from any government post.

• Procurement Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Operations Management, Purchasing, Procurement Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Project Management, Quantity Surveying.

• For this position, applicants must have passed the Background Assessment, Interview and Medical Examination that will be conducted for candidates applying for the post.
• When selecting people for this position, candidates with work experience in fields related to the post's work may be exempted.

• Official duty / part-time duty

• Form to check the criminal record of applicants for the Maldivian Police Service (this form is attached to this announcement.)
• Copy of identification card showing Maldivian citizenship
• Attested copies of obtained educational certificates and transcripts. (If the certificate is from an institution outside the Maldives, an attested copy accredited by the Maldives Qualifications Authority. If the certificate has not been obtained, an attested copy of the course completion letter from the university or college and the assessment report issued by the Maldives Qualifications Authority)
• Copies of obtained professional certificates
• Passport size photograph of the person not taken more than 3 months ago (to be attached to the form)
• If working in another position, a letter stating no objection from the place of work
• Copies of letters stating work experience (if previously employed or currently employed, letters showing the duration of employment in those positions and the responsibilities of those positions)
