What you would do

• Assist the Boat Captain in the safe navigation and operation of the supply vessel.
• Support the loading, unloading, and proper securing of cargo to ensure safe transportation.
• Carry out routine inspections, cleaning, and basic maintenance of the vessel, engines, and safety equipment.
• Monitor fuel, oil, water, and other operational requirements before each voyage.
• Ensure compliance with maritime regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate voyage logs and report any mechanical issues or incidents promptly.
• Assist in emergency procedures and ensure all safety equipment is operational and readily available.
• Coordinate effectively with the resort, Malé logistics team, suppliers, and port authorities to ensure smooth operations.
• Support the Captain in maintaining a clean, organized, and seaworthy vessel at all times.

What they are looking for

• Valid boat captain or marine operation certification/license.
• Previous experience operating passenger boats, preferably in a luxury resort.
• Good knowledge of marine safety procedures and navigation.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Basic spoken and written English.
