• Fisheries, mariculture, other animal husbandry, aquaculture, poultry, animal husbandry and forestry sector projects, formulating these matters strategically, combining investment programmes, and sourcing necessary resources.
• Formulating and combining investment projects that yield results necessary for conservation and blue economy development, respecting state development policies and international standards.
• Planning departmental infrastructure, conducting assessments to identify needs, and identifying investment opportunities.
• Working to increase private sector participation, and liaising with development partners regarding work matters. Additionally, overseeing and liaising all matters of projects without a dedicated Project Management Unit (PMU).

• Assisting in strategic project implementation to support the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (MSME), and formulating concepts for projects to be implemented through PPP (Public Private Partnership) and PSIP (Public Sector Investment Programme) principles.

1- Having obtained a Doctoral Degree at Level 10 of Maldives National Qualification Framework and having worked for at least 2 years in a related field. Or

2- Having obtained a Master's Degree at Level 9 of Maldives National Qualification Framework in a field related to the post and having at least 4 years of work experience in the field of the post. Having gained at least 2 years of management experience within this period. Or

3- Having obtained a Degree or Bachelor's Honours Degree at Level 7 or 8 of Maldives National Qualification Framework in a field related to the post and having at least 8 years of work experience in the field of the post. Having gained at least 2 years of management experience within this period.

2- Applicant's details (including contact phone number and email address).

3- A copy of both sides of the Maldivian citizenship card (even if expired) in a clearly readable format, or if the ID card is lost, the birth certificate, passport or driving licence of that person.

4- For employees with an agreement to serve the Civil Service / Government, a letter from the office where the post is being held certifying that there is no objection to leaving that position.

5- Copies of educational certificates received;

(a) For educational certificates issued by institutions outside Maldives that have been graded by the Maldives Qualifications Authority at a certain level, copies of the educational certificate and transcript; or: in cases where there is no certificate, a copy of the letter confirming completion of the course and a copy of the assessment report and transcript issued by the Maldives Qualifications Authority.

(b) Copies of educational certificates and transcript issued by local educational institutions in Maldives; or copies of letter confirming completion of the course and copies of transcript.

6- Copies of documents relevant to the following categories showing work experience:

(a) If work experience has been gained in a civil service post, in a state institution, in a government-owned company, a letter from that office stating the work undertaken, the period of work (in years, months and days), and the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each).

(b) For work experience within the civil service that cannot be verified from https://myaccount.csc.gov.mv/, a letter from that office stating the work undertaken and the period (in years, months and days) confirmed by that office, and stating the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each).

(c) If work experience has been gained in a private company or private organisation, a letter from that organisation stating the work undertaken, the period of work (in years, months and days), the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each) and the number of staff at the workplace.

(d) If work has been undertaken in a national or international association or society, a letter from that organisation stating the work undertaken, and the period (in years, months and days), and the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each). This letter should state whether the position held is a salaried position or not, or alternatively, an official letter from that organisation confirming this.

(b) If employed in a registered government institution, or a registered private company or private

• institution, or a registered national or international organisation or association, the job held and the duration of employment (expressed in years, months and days), job responsibilities (even if employed in different posts of one institution) must be stated separately, and if no letter from that office has been issued, the "Reference Check Form for Employment Applicant" in Schedule 8 of the Recruitment Principles.

The criteria to be considered for the person to be most suitable for this post are specified in item 12 of the Civil Service Job Recruitment and Appointment Standards and Principles 2023 (Second Amendment).

The interview and examination to be held for this post shall be between 14 October 2026 and 02 November 2026, at the Ministry of Fisheries, Agriculture and Ocean Resources.

Within three days of the interview being held, the "Sheet of Points Awarded to Job Applicants (A2 Sheet)" will be made public at this office and on the office's website.
