Main responsibilities of the post

  1. To enter all documents that need to be brought to the Ombudsperson's attention and to respond to documents that require response from the Ombudsperson's office and to send replies to the parties from which they are required and to file documents daily.
  2. To arrange and maintain all necessary arrangements to schedule the Ombudsperson's appointments.
  3. To arrange all necessary matters to organise meetings and press conferences attended by the Ombudsperson and to prepare necessary documents/presentations and to file daily minutes of the meetings.
  4. To conduct the meetings of the senior management of the Ombudsperson's office according to regulations and to prepare minutes of the meetings and to share the decisions of the meetings with the departments and to monitor the implementation of the decisions and report to the Ombudsperson.
  5. To prepare and maintain necessary items for the Ombudsperson's office.
  6. All work related to organising TV/radio programmes and formats involving the Childress Ombudsman, liaising with relevant sections, and preparing necessary written materials/presentations;
  7. Managing and maintaining arrangements related to all matters concerned with official trips made by the Childress Ombudsman (to various parts of the Maldives and abroad), liaising with relevant sections, and preparing necessary written materials/presentations for the trips;
  8. Maintaining the work stations of the Childress Ombudsman with responsibility, confidentiality and integrity;
  9. Recording incoming documents to the Childress Ombudsman's office according to regulations, delivering those documents to the recipient, filing and maintaining these documents according to regulations, and keeping records of memos and other documents sent from the Childress Ombudsman's office to various parties;
  10. Preparing the annual report of the Childress Ombudsman's office by the deadline set and sending it to the required institutions, and preparing presentations related to this matter;
  11. Preparing speeches to be delivered by the Childress Ombudsman on occasions observed by the Childress Ombudsman's office;
  12. In addition, performing all other tasks assigned in relation to the office's work.

Note: A person shall be considered eligible for this post if they obtain marks not less than %40 in each component included in the criteria mentioned above. At the same time, they must obtain marks not less than %65 in the total of all components included in the criteria.

  6. Documents issued by the institutions where work experience was gained, to verify work experience.
  7. In the submission letter confirming the end of the experience period, describe the position held, the responsibilities or duties of the position, and the duration of employment.
