Main responsibilities and duties of the post

  1. Transferring office desks from one place to another and carrying out the work of moving them.
  2. Carrying out the work of removing office partitions and wiring work, and performing current wiring tasks.
  3. Carrying out the work of transporting ministry furniture from one place to another and taking it to warehouses and placing it there.
  4. Carrying out the work of transporting textbooks and items needed for schools to warehouses and warehousing them.
  5. Carrying out the work of cleaning the office area.
  6. Carrying out the work of receiving items needed for the ministry's stock and placing them in storage.
  7. Carrying out the work of handing over items sent to the ministry and its departments and managing items such as office cards.
  8. Carrying out the work of managing textbooks for schools throughout the country.
  9. Submitting a report to the staff member every three months showing which warehouses need to be cleaned, and advising on necessary measures to be taken for warehouse maintenance and security.
  10. Producing a report to the staff member after checking the stock of warehouses outside the ministry twice a year to see if the system is balanced.
  11. Managing the warehouse in a secure manner in accordance with established rules for items that can be warehoused.
  12. Submitting a report to the staff member before the expiry of the period within which items in the warehouse that need to be publicly distributed to schools can be obtained.
  13. Carrying out special work related to the office or section as assigned by the staff member.

  5. Copies of educational certificates obtained;

(a) For educational certificates issued by institutions outside Maldives that have been graded by the Maldives Qualifications Authority at a certain level, copies of the educational certificate and transcript; or: in cases where there is no certificate, a copy of the letter confirming completion of the course and a copy of the assessment report and transcript issued by the Maldives Qualifications Authority.

(b) Copies of educational certificates and transcript issued by local educational institutions in Maldives; or copies of letter confirming completion of the course and copies of transcript.

  1. Copies of documents covering the following criteria providing work experience:

(a) If work experience has been gained in a civil service post, in a state institution, in a government-owned company, a letter from that office stating the work undertaken, the period of work (in years, months and days), and the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each).

(b) For work experience within the civil service that cannot be verified from https://myaccount.csc.gov.mv/, a letter from that office stating the work undertaken and the period (in years, months and days) confirmed by that office, and stating the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each).

(c) If work experience has been gained in a private company or private organisation, a letter from that organisation stating the work undertaken, the period of work (in years, months and days), the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each) and the number of staff at the workplace.

(d) If work has been undertaken in a national or international association or society, a letter from that organisation stating the work undertaken, and the period (in years, months and days), and the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each). This letter should state whether the position held is a salaried position or not, or alternatively, an official letter from that organisation confirming this.

(e) If work has been undertaken in a dissolved state institution, or in a dissolved private company or private organisation, or in a dissolved national or international society or association, and a letter from that office stating the work undertaken and the period of work (in years, months and days) and the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each) cannot be obtained, the "Reference Check Form for Work Experience from a Dissolved Workplace" found in Table 8 of the Recruitment Rules.
