What is CareersMV?

CareersMV is the employment platform for the Maldives. Find jobs at resorts, in government and across the islands, follow the employers you like, keep track of your applications and get new matches with Job Radar. Employers post jobs for free.

Where do the jobs come from?

Employers post jobs on CareersMV directly, and CareersMV collects public vacancies from the Government Gazette, Job Maldives and Job Center every hour. Each job is classified by role, category, island and advertised pay. When the same vacancy appears on more than one site it is counted once, and jobs collected from other sites link to the original notice, where you apply.

What is Job Radar?

Job Radar is where you tell CareersMV the roles, islands, atolls and minimum pay you want. It finds the open jobs that match, recommends them on the home page and can email you new matches. Browsing needs no account; Job Radar needs a free one.

How do I apply for a job?

Open a job to see its requirements, closing date and how to apply. Jobs posted on CareersMV say “Apply on CareersMV”: you apply with your profile and CV. Jobs collected from other sites say “Apply at the original source” and link to the notice.

How much does it cost to post a job?

Nothing. Posting is free within reasonable use: up to 5 live jobs at a time, or 50 once CareersMV has verified your company page. You pay only if you want more reach for a job.

What are Boost and CareersMV Pro?

A Boost (MVR 499 a job) gives one job the Featured label and pins it above the latest jobs for 14 days, puts it first in matching job alerts and shares it again on CareersMV’s social channels. CareersMV Pro (MVR 990 a month, or MVR 9,900 a year, 2 months free) is for regular recruiters: 3 Boosts every month, which do not roll over, plus the candidate pool and recruiter tools.
