Documents to submit

  3. A copy of both sides of an identification card showing the applicant is a Maldivian citizen, with clear written details, or a legible copy of written documents. If the ID card is lost, a copy of the birth certificate, passport or driving licence of that person.
  4. If a staff member with a service agreement to serve the Civil Service / Government is transferred to this position, a letter issued by the office providing the service stating that there is no objection to leaving the position.
  5. Copies of educational certificates obtained;

(a) Educational certificates from foreign secondary education institutions submitted for Commission positions must be qualifications rated and recognized by the Maldives Qualifications Authority. In this regard, even if the applicant states that it is from a registered secondary education institution in the Maldives, if the course certificate awarding body is a foreign secondary education institution, the certificate must be a qualification rated and recognized by the Maldives Qualifications Authority. And if a letter of course completion is submitted, the level of the course must be stated and an assessment report issued by that authority must be submitted.

(b) Letters of course completion (Course Completion Letter) issued by secondary education institutions in the Maldives are recognized if the letter contains the CTI number and date that the Maldives Qualifications Authority has authorized to issue "Batch Validated" certificates to the institution.

6. Copies of documents as specified below demonstrating work experience:

(a) If work experience has been gained in a civil service post, in a state institution, in a government-owned company, a letter from that office stating the work undertaken, the period of work (in years, months and days), and the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each).

(b) For work experience within the civil service that cannot be verified from https://myaccount.csc.gov.mv/, a letter from that office stating the work undertaken and the period (in years, months and days) confirmed by that office, and stating the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each).

(c) If work experience has been gained in a private company or private organisation, a letter from that organisation stating the work undertaken, the period of work (in years, months and days), the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each) and the number of staff at the workplace.

(d) If work has been undertaken in a national or international association or society, a letter from that organisation stating the work undertaken, and the period (in years, months and days), and the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each). This letter should state whether the position held is a salaried position or not, or alternatively, an official letter from that organisation confirming this.

(c) If employed in a government-owned institution, or a registered private company or private institution, or a registered national or international organization or association, if a letter from that office is not obtained stating the duties performed, the period of employment (in years, months, and days), and the responsibilities of the position (even if duties were performed in different positions within one institution), the "Reference Check Form" in Table 8 of the Recruitment Regulations should be used.

7. The period for which work experience is counted and how points are awarded are described in the "Civil Service Commission Administration Guidelines and Principles for Recruitment and Appointment 2026".

8. Portfolio demonstrating work experience.

Criteria to be considered for the person to be most suitable for this post
