Requirements of the post

Obtaining a grade D or above in at least 2 subjects in Grade A O-Level or equivalent examinations, and obtaining a grade C or above in Dhivehi in the Secondary School or Higher Secondary School Certificate examinations.

Main responsibilities and duties of the post

  1. Providing information and assistance to persons seeking hospital services.
  2. Providing information to people who call seeking information about the services provided by the hospital.
  3. Assisting persons seeking hospital services and resolving problems they encounter.
  4. Making doctor's appointments for patients who need to see a doctor.
  5. Registering patients who need to see a doctor at the hospital.
  6. Making administrative decisions and processing discharges for those admitted.
  7. Observing whether patients waiting while doctors are seeing other patients have any problems, and if there is no one in the doctor's room, providing that information to people waiting in the queue and managing those matters.
  8. Issuing memos / reports to patients seeking services and, if patients require information regarding services, filling in the forms appropriately so that the information reaches those persons smoothly.
  9. Every day, taking the revenue sheet of memos prepared by the employee, and after the sheet is filled, taking the sheet and telephoning it to the Finance Department and handing it over.

Scope of the post's work:

Work related to administrative management and administration, human resources, finance and related technical work, and study and administrative work.

  3. A readable copy of both sides of the card proving that the applicant is a Maldivian citizen (even if the validity period has expired), or if the ID card is lost, the applicant's birth certificate, passport or driving licence.
  4. If a staff member with a service agreement to serve the Civil Service / Government is transferred to this position, a letter issued by the office providing the service stating that there is no objection to leaving the position.
  5. Copies of educational certificates obtained;

(a) For educational certificates issued by institutions outside Maldives that have been graded by the Maldives Qualifications Authority at a certain level, copies of the educational certificate and transcript; or: in cases where there is no certificate, a copy of the letter confirming completion of the course and a copy of the assessment report and transcript issued by the Maldives Qualifications Authority.

(b) Copies of educational certificates and transcript issued by local educational institutions in Maldives; or copies of letter confirming completion of the course and copies of transcript.

  1. Copies of documents covering the following criteria providing work experience:

(a) If work experience has been gained in a civil service post, in a state institution, in a government-owned company, a letter from that office stating the work undertaken, the period of work (in years, months and days), and the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each).

(b) For work experience within the civil service that cannot be verified from https://myaccount.csc.gov.mv/, a letter from that office stating the work undertaken and the period (in years, months and days) confirmed by that office, and stating the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each).

(c) If work experience has been gained in a private company or private organisation, a letter from that organisation stating the work undertaken, the period of work (in years, months and days), the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each) and the number of staff at the workplace.

(d) If work has been undertaken in a national or international association or society, a letter from that organisation stating the work undertaken, and the period (in years, months and days), and the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each). This letter should state whether the position held is a salaried position or not, or alternatively, an official letter from that organisation confirming this.

(e) If work has been undertaken in a dissolved state institution, or in a dissolved private company or private organisation, or in a dissolved national or international society or association, and a letter from that office stating the work undertaken and the period of work (in years, months and days) and the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each) cannot be obtained, the "Reference Check Form for Work Experience from a Dissolved Workplace" found in Table 8 of the Recruitment Rules.
